A Southern Contracting customer on Sugarloaf Lane in Harvey, La. needed an old corroded and leaking electric water heater replaced. The previous heater capacity was also a problem and a larger 80 gallon unit from Rheem was installed to replace the previous 50 gallon model at customer request. The new unit from Rheem featured dual 4500 watt heating elements. New piping consisting of stainless flex lines and a new brass ball inlet valve were also installed to complete the job. The old heating unit was removed for trash pickup.
